Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking an Area Facilities Manager to lead a multi-location facilities team, drive safe operations, and deliver reliable maintenance services that support store performance and guest satisfaction.

You will mentor technicians, manage vendors, ensure preventive maintenance, optimize building systems, and uphold contract terms while advancing safety and efficiency across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Facilities Management or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of building/mechanical/electrical systems (MEP).
• Experience using CMMS systems and reporting, planning, scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians, vendors, and contractors across multiple locations.
• Establish safety-first culture and ensure training and best practices are followed.
• Maintain relationships with site leads and partners to ensure delivery of FM services.
• Uphold contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers and manage service levels.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Coordinate FM activities with site occupants and property management.
• Develop and implement SOPs/PM schedules to support all areas.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate rapid resolution.
