Job summary

Advanced Energy in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead operations and maintenance of the Fort Collins facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. You will oversee staff, contractors, capital projects, and budgets while aligning with site leadership and cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong leadership, sound business judgment, and the ability to coordinate resources and stakeholders to achieve operational goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professionalism and sound judgment in managing projects and budgets.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• OSHA, EPA, or Occupational Health & Safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility modifications and construction projects, including planning, budgeting, cost estimates, bid packages, contracts, and project execution.
• Ensure construction, installation, and facility operations comply with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and direct maintenance personnel, facility engineers, project managers, and EHS staff while fostering collaboration.
• Oversee building space planning and facilities support across U.S. locations.
• Develop and manage departmental operating budgets and capital expenditures for U.S. locations.
• Analyze energy usage and drive efficiency improvements.
• Manage vendor and service contracts for maintenance, project management, security, janitorial, and related services.
• Coordinate remodeling, expansion, and space needs with site leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and related support services.
• Serve as primary facilities liaison with utilities, fire departments, and law enforcement.
