Job summary

Averill Hospitality is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety of its facilities across multiple locations. The role supports maintenance teams in planning, coordination, and execution of activities at all properties.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on facilities management experience in hospitality, strong knowledge of MEP systems, HVAC, and safety standards, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management or related field
• 3–5 years of hands-on facilities management experience
• Experience in hospitality industry is an asset
• Knowledge of building operations and maintenance to include MEP, HVAC, fire safety and security systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, custodial, and grounds teams across locations
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, refrigeration, roof systems, equipment, energy management
• Coordinate renovations, repairs, and equipment upgrades within budget and time constraints
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Monitor budgets and expenditures for maintenance and projects
• Mentor property staff and align with organizational goals
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems
