Job summary

Averill Hospitality seeks a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency across multiple properties in Montana. You will coordinate teams, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, written and verbal skills with staff and management.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to adhere to Averill Hospitality policies and supervise staff.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, maintenance management and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, custodial and grounds teams across locations.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC, refrigeration, roofs, equipment and energy systems.
• Identify facility opportunities and risks through analytics and routine management.
• Coordinate renovations, repairs and equipment upgrades within budget and schedule.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Support regional strategy and performance goals with leadership.
• Coordinate with property managers to address operational issues.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures for maintenance and projects.
• Mentor staff to align with organizational goals.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of critical building systems and safety systems.
• Research and negotiate cost‑effective solutions with vendors.
• Conduct inspections and quality reviews to meet standards.
