Job summary

JLL in Oakland seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee a large administrative building and East Bay facilities, reporting to a client facilities leader and acting as their primary backup. You will coordinate space needs, moves, furniture, equipment, and telecom, while guiding vendor activity to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or 4+ years in facilities), superb customer service, strong organization, and CMMS/Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or 4+ years in facilities)
• Superior customer service skills and client-focused orientation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and CMMS experience
• Reliable transportation to travel between East Bay facilities and on-call availability

Responsibilities

• Research and respond to all customer requests within 24 hours
• Coordinate and manage small to medium-scale move projects and space planning
• Process MAC requests and manage work orders in CMMS
• Coordinate safety drills and update Life Safety manuals
• Coordinate with vendors for multidisciplinary services
• Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices, assist with budget reports
• Perform weekly inspections and complete work orders for repairs
