Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations of a large administrative building in Oakland, CA, and support additional East Bay facilities. You will coordinate office moves, space planning, and vendor services, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or 4+ years in facility management, strong customer service, and proficiency with CMMS and Excel. Onsite in Oakland with potential for after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Public Health, Engineering, Public Administration, Health Care Administration, Engineering Construction, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or 4+ years in facilities).
• Excellent customer service and client-focused mindset.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and CMMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations for a marquee Healthcare client and multiple East Bay facilities.
• Lead small to medium-scale moves, space planning, and vendor coordination.
• Process MAC requests, manage work orders in CMMS, and track changes.
• Coordinate fire drills and Life Safety manual updates with minimal disruption.
• Liaise with internal and external vendors for services like security, signage, and equipment.
• Prepare purchase orders, code invoices, and assist with monthly reports.
