Avison Young is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee a regional office portfolio, ensuring efficient operations and value enhancement. The role includes budgeting, client relations, and supervising engineering and maintenance staff to meet client objectives.

The position requires a four-year degree with CPM/RPA desirable, 5+ years in real estate facility management, and strong financial acumen. Base salary is market-aligned with potential bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required; CPM/RPA designation desired.
• Minimum 5 years in real estate with facility or property management; 7–10 years preferred.
• Experience supervising and developing staff including hiring and performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the approved strategic plan for the portfolio and oversees day-to-day operations.
• Prepares annual budgets and financial reports for the client.
• Conducts site inspections and ensures lease compliance.
• Monitors lease terms and addresses facility-related concerns.
• Oversees documentation such as property info books and operating manuals.
• Ensures budget adherence and cash flow forecasting; manages risk.
