Job summary

The Scion Group seeks a Facilities Manager to lead building operations in our Philadelphia properties. You will ensure safety, functionality, and optimal service delivery by the onsite facilities team and contractors.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance programs, life-safety systems oversight, and supervising technicians, with a focus on regulatory compliance and timely repairs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and preventative maintenance programs in line with SOPs and regulations.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and general maintenance.
• Monitor systems and provide diagnostics, testing, and certification for major building systems.
• Operate life safety systems including fire pumps, alarms, sprinklers, detectors, and egress lighting.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance work to Scion standards.
• Manage Facilities Technicians and document service requests.
• Review completed work for conformance to standards.
• Ensure timely emergency and routine maintenance.
• Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out timely.
• Respond to safety/risk-management issues at the property.
• Review labor hours and material costs, tracking recurring equipment failures.
• Conduct regular inspection tours of buildings and exterior areas.
