Job summary

Grantham Hospital, part of the Hospital Authority, invites applications for a Manager (Facility Management). The role leads a team of building services and clerical staff and oversees project consultants and contractors to maintain facilities and safety across operations.

You will monitor O&M budgets, prepare inspection and progress reports, coordinate with safety officers, and support capital works across the cluster.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies or Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent.
• 8 years of relevant experience.
• Obtained valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).

Responsibilities

• To lead a team of technical and clerical staff in managing and tackling all building facilities related matters.
• To supervise and monitor the performance of project consultants and contractors.
• To provide technical supports on management of minor works projects.
• To monitor progress of site works and controlling of works materials and workmanships.
• To monitor the budget of operational and maintenance (O&M) works and minor works projects.
• To coordinate with Safety Officers of contractors, Safety Auditor of consultants and other parties for monitoring of site safety performance.
• To provide technical supports to cluster hospitals on facilities management.
• To prepare and submit inspection and progress reports to hospital management.
• To work according to duty roster, attend emergency calls and perform shift duty and typhoon / black rainstorm duties.
• Perform any other duties as required to facilitate implementation of capital works projects of the department including site supervision of construction works.
• To perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
