Job summary

SEMCOA is seeking a Maintenance Staff member to support multiple family centers in southeast Massachusetts. The role covers daily upkeep, safety tasks and minor repairs at New Bedford and Taunton locations, with a Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm expectation and need to travel as required.

Responsibilities include facility walk-throughs, responding to requests, completing preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Benefits are offered to full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must present as courteous and professional at all times.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks; able to learn WorxHub quickly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily facility walk-throughs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and keep areas safe and functional.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC and building repairs.
• Patch and paint as directed; maintain facilities and grounds.
• Attend mandatory trainings and inspections.
• Ensure departmental documentation is accurate and current.
