South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Framingham, MA to perform a wide range of building repairs and services across SMOC properties. The role includes electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general upkeep, with focus on safety and tenant satisfaction.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Experience in housing/facility maintenance.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Flexibility in schedule and willing to work on-call shifts.
• Demonstrable use of basic hand tools and power tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services as assigned using hand, power and specialty tools.
• Complete turnover process of vacant rooms/apartments as directed by the Maintenance Field Supervisor.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
• Complete assigned work orders and communicate changes or delays promptly.
• Perform external property work including trash pickup, curb/dumpster areas, snow removal and basic landscaping.
