Job summary

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, operating specialized tools, and maintaining logs. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Heavy physical work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with up to one year of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Identifies, troubleshoots, tests, adjusts, and repairs minor problems related to facilities, machines, and equipment.
• Operates a variety of specialized tools and equipment for maintenance activities.
• Prepares and maintains logs of daily activities.
• Inspects, cleans, and maintains County vehicles.
• Installs equipment and light fixtures; disassembles and reassembles equipment for parts replacement.
• Monitors inventory and notifies when replenishment is needed.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
