Job summary

Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Pensacola, FL, responsible for the repair, upkeep, and general maintenance of residential and/or commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, completing work orders, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment. The role involves responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner, coordinating with property management and vendors, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The Maintenance Technician also helps maintain common areas, performs minor renovations, and keeps detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for building systems and property assets.
• Experience in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to identify issues and reduce downtime.
• Background in Industrial Maintenance or similar roles involving mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
• Working knowledge of safety practices, building codes, and proper use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with property management and residents.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to the Pensacola, FL worksite and ability to perform physically active tasks, including lifting and working in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
