Job summary

Capstone Adaptive Learning and Therapy in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant. The role involves minor repairs to facilities, painting, carpentry, and basic upkeep of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Capstone Adaptive Learning and Therapy, Pensacola Florida is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant.

This position will assist with minor repairs to our facilities to include painting, pressure washing, carpentry, construction of new items i.e., shelves, cabinets, etc. Complete minor repairs on all Capstone vehicles as needed. Assist Supervisor with obtaining quotes, evaluate major repair/replacement needs, and coordinating vendor/contract work. Check in at start of every shift to get assignments and check out at the end of the shift providing updates, receipts and paperwork. Assist with set-up and tear down of special events. Assist with monthly preventative maintenance and inspections of all Capstone facilities. Demonstrate a capacity for collaboration, cooperation and coordination with direct colleagues.

Requirements

Knowledge of basic maintenance of buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment. Must be able to use hand tools. Must be of high moral character and possess sound judgement, respect and empathy for handicapped persons. Must have a valid Florida Drivers License and a good driving record and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Must pass a local and a federal background screening.
