Job summary

The Wyndmoor of Marion is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment for residents. You will perform general maintenance, respond to requests, and assist with upkeep of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

You will work with staff across departments, keep accurate records, and contribute to a seamless resident experience. This role requires physical ability and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and management.
• Identify and report safety hazards and take corrective action.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless resident experience.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
