Job summary

The Wyndmoor of Portage is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment for residents in a licensed Independent and Assisted Living facility.

You will perform maintenance tasks, repairs, and equipment replacements, keep records, and collaborate with other departments in a fast-paced setting. Experience is required, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or similar role
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks across the facility
• Clean and sanitize common areas and resident rooms
• Change light bulbs and fixtures
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments
• Restock supplies and linen
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance issues
• Develop and maintain a cleaning schedule and priority list
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs
