Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, ensuring rent-ready units, and maintaining equipment and spaces. The position requires dependable, multi-trade skills and the ability to work under pressure in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong maintenance knowledge across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, painting, and related trades.
• Ability to lead, organize and complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Support Avista’s philosophy, mission, and values.
• Perform maintenance and repair work across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, roofing).
• Respond promptly to work orders and complete repairs.
• Keep work areas clean and tools organized; store items safely after use.
• Follow fire, safety and infection control policies.
• Report unsafe conditions and replenish supplies as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Walk the property weekly to identify repair needs and coordinate corrective actions.
