Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain building systems and equipment. The role reports to the Site Operations Manager and partners with the Site Operations Supervisor to ensure safety, reliability, and service excellence across hard and soft services.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or vocational training, basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training required.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and address safety concerns.
• Valid driver’s license; may travel within a metro region.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on building systems.
• Repair doors, locks, fixtures, and basic equipment.
• Inspect and service HVAC, plumbing, electrical components.
• Monitor safety, perform CMMS data entry and reporting.
• Respond to escalations and coordinate with site management.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work areas.
