Job summary

AbleLight in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across facilities and equipment. You will read blueprints, follow specs, and respond to emergencies as needed to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems, ordering parts, and documenting findings for supervision. Valid driver’s license and strong maintenance experience required.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in building maintenance or education in building systems / repair work.
• Strong skills in one or more areas of facility maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and performs preventative maintenance programs on facilities, structures, and equipment.
• Completes required repairs / updates including troubleshooting, repairing, installing, replacing, testing, and adjusting system components.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and follows safety policies in and around buildings and grounds.
