Job summary

AbleLight is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to perform preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and systems. The role requires diagnosing and repairing across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related areas, with a focus on safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 5+ years in facility maintenance, and a valid driver's license. The position involves project support and may include off-hours emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in building maintenance and/or education in building systems / repair work.
• Highly skilled in one or more areas of facility maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and performs preventative maintenance programs on all facilities, structures, and equipment.
• Troubleshoots and repairs system components across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related equipment.
• Performs research to identify replacement parts and orders as needed.
• Completes required repairs/updates and reports findings to supervisor.
