Job summary

AbleLight in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair building systems, and support facilities operations. The role requires reading blueprints, specifications, schematics, and codes to guide work, with a willingness to assist on projects and occasional off-duty emergencies.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years in building maintenance, and a valid driver's license,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years’ experience in building maintenance and/or education in building systems / repair work.
• Highly skilled in one or more areas of facility maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, and performs preventative maintenance programs on all facilities, structures, and equipment.
• Completes required repairs / updates and reports findings to supervisor.
• Willing to assist with projects and activities as needed, including some off-duty emergencies.
