Job summary

FirstService Residential in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and janitorial services across all property-owned/leased buildings. You will handle carpentry and plumbing repairs, drywall fixes, window and door cleaning, and participate in renovation projects to keep properties in top condition.

You’ll work with a team or alone, communicate effectively with residents, and help with playground equipment inspection, floor care, and general cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited high school or GED.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Able to interact with residents professionally.
• Some knowledge of custodial tools and basic maintenance equipment.
• Must have a valid Florida Class E Driver License and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor carpentry and plumbing repairs.
• Repairs to drywall; replace light fixtures.
• Clean kitchens, bathrooms, and other appliances; sweep and mop floors.
• Inspect and maintain playground equipment.
• Assist with renovations and other projects as needed.
• Collect trash from offices, pool areas, events and other areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues; follow policies.
• Pressure washing and general cleaning as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
