Job summary

FirstService Residential in Highland Beach, FL is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to ensure mechanical systems and common areas are well-maintained and disinfected. The role requires performing minor repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting, with a focus on safety and reliable daily work orders.

The position offers full-time hours, Tue-Sat 8am-4pm, with a pay rate of $17.50–$18/hr and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 2 years general experience in building trades, repair and maintenance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Multiple language fluency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and reports issues to supervisors.
• Follows safety precautions and maintains a safe work environment.
• Performs minor maintenance across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting.
• Completes daily work orders and maintains assigned equipment.
• Lift and move items up to 50 lbs following safety procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with building staff.
