Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support building systems and grounds. You will perform electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks to ensure a safe and reliable facility.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, and collaboration with contractors. Requires basic mechanical/electrical skills, 2+ years’ experience, and PPE use; on-site work in varied weather conditions with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Degree or coursework in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of facility maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical competencies required.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tools per schedule.
• Conduct routine inspections of building systems (plumbing, electrical, fire alarms, doors).
• Assist other departments with facility-related needs and special projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Identify safety, health, or environmental issues and report them.
