Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and overhaul equipment, plan moves, and improve designs to prevent future issues. You will maintain forklifts and PIT/PIV, manage parts inventory, and use CMMS to track work orders.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems, interpret schematics, and resolve root causes with a proactive maintenance mindset. A high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical maintenance training preferred.
• 3+ years mechanical/electrical/electronic/controls experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Forklift/PIT maintenance experience is required.
• Knowledge of PLCs, servo controls, relay logic is a plus; familiarity with Trane operating system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and construction repairs and installations from schematics and blueprints.
• Troubleshoot to component level for various controller brands.
• Identify root causes and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain CMMS records, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Ensure safety protocols and clean work area; communicate status to internal customers.
