Job summary

Brooklyn Center in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker to support safety, upkeep and appearance of the facility. You will assist with inspections, respond to maintenance requests and repair vacated rooms.

Qualifications include basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance; a high school diploma or equivalent; ability to work independently or in a team; on-call every other weekend; and a preferred driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with regular facility & equipment inspections for safety, upkeep, appearance.
• Respond to maintenance requests by Staff & Residents.
• Repairing and maintaining vacated rooms in a timely manner.
• Be available for emergency troubleshooting & repairs of equipment.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
