Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Facilities Maintenance professional to support its distribution center operations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordinating with contractors to keep material handling equipment and automated systems running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have a 2+ year background in facilities maintenance, a related bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and CMMS/EAM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance or related experience required.
• CFM certification preferred.
• Experience using CMMS/EAM systems.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensures preventive maintenance plans for facility equipment and systems.
• Diagnoses and repairs Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System issues.
• Oversees maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of MHE and AP system controls.
• Assesses efficiency of equipment and defines modifications.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance to sustain productivity in warehouse operations.
• Coordinates with contractors for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintains CMMS/EAM records of repairs and inventory of spare parts.
• Analyzes operational data to support issue resolution and improve workflow.
• Implements process adjustments to enhance efficiency and reduce rework.
