Job summary

CBRE Maintenance Technician in Boston, MA, will maintain small to mid-size buildings and industrial systems, performing preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs. You will assist with install/modifications and review work orders to track completion, ensuring energy efficiency and code compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
Meet the physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose potential problems.
Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
Follow defined procedures and exchange information clearly under supervision.
