Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II in Midland to uphold and improve the reliability, safety, and efficiency of building systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support repairs, and assist with system installations across commercial facilities.

The role requires five years of maintenance experience, HVAC/electrical/plumbing proficiency, CMMS familiarity, and EPA 608 certification or plan to obtain within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Technical, vocational, or on-the-job training in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Controls, or Air Compressors.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial or industrial facility maintenance.
• Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial license may be required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Technical proficiency with CMMS.
• Current EPA 608 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree or vocational/technical diploma preferred.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review, create, and maintain work orders in CMMS.
• Replace and repair building finishes and equipment.
• Inspect for unsafe conditions; perform reactive and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain fire and life safety systems and related equipment.
• Identify and coordinate with outside contractors/vendors from sourcing to completion.
• Respond to emergency situations and service requests as needed.
