Job summary

Jefferson Energy Cooperative seeks a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician I to maintain our facilities and support our mission of providing reliable service to members. This full-time role covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, custodial, groundskeeping, and general building repairs across JEC facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma or higher in a related field, a valid driver's license, and experience in facility maintenance with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance is preferred.
• Technical training in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities and respond to maintenance requests via a work order system.
• Maintain HVAC systems, security cameras, gate operators, and badge access systems.
• Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Collaborate with employees and vendors on maintenance tasks.
