Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment and building systems at our Philadelphia facilities.

You will dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment, and conduct periodic inspections of safety, lighting, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; journeyman maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and safe work practices.
• Able to inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment.
• Keep records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Maintain distribution systems and equipment in engine rooms and associated piping.
• Assist other technicians with complex repairs as needed.
