Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment across campus facilities. The role involves operating plant equipment such as trucks and lifts, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with facility upkeep and safety tasks.

Required are a High School Diploma/GED and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong safety awareness and ability to handle physical workloads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Training in safety practices preferred.
• 3 years of related maintenance experience required.
• Able to operate and troubleshoot basic plant equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Dismantle, repair and reassemble equipment; carry out inspections and basic repairs as needed.
• Assist with snow removal, custodial tasks and general campus maintenance as required.
