Job summary

Jefferson Industries Corporation in West Jefferson, OH, is seeking Facilities Maintenance Technicians for the 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) to support production by maintaining facility systems, HVAC, electrical, water, grounds, and the overall building integrity.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, spare parts tracking, safety/PPE, proper documentation, and collaborate with other departments and outside contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with supervision and associates.
• Ability to quickly determine a situation and solve problems to avoid quality, delivery or safety issues.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, memos, and correspondence.
• Proficiency with basic math and unit conversions relevant to maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support production by maintaining facility, HVAC, electrical, water, grounds, and overall building.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs; track spare parts and document work orders.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors as needed; ensure safety policies and PPE usage.
