Job summary

LB Lutheran Towers-AH is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to support the facility's upkeep, safety, and operations. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, electrical, and general building systems, along with responding to work orders and emergencies.

The role requires basic carpentry and refurbishment tasks in resident apartments, on-call availability, and live-on-site considerations as needed by the community.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not required.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing.
• Visually inspects electrical equipment and appliances and performs repairs as needed.
• Dismantles defective machines and installs rebuilt parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Performs plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of the facility.
• Responds to work orders for apartments and common areas; coordinates with vendors.
