Job summary

Front Porch Communities and Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for LB Lutheran Towers-AH in Long Beach, CA. The role is full-time, hourly, with a schedule Monday–Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and a pay range of $23.18–$28.00 per hour.

The technician will install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and building components to ensure safe and efficient facility operation. On-call duties and on-site residency considerations may apply.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred but not required.
• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects and tests electrical equipment and machinery and performs repairs.
• Diagnoses problems by listening to equipment and discussing operation variations with supervisor.
• Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility and common areas.
