Lutheran Social Services of New York is seeking a Maintenance Worker to ensure a well cared for facility. The role involves painting, basic plumbing, electrical work, and various repairs across the building and grounds.

Ideal candidate has at least 3 years in building maintenance, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with flexibility, including some holidays and weekends. PPE will be provided.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in building maintenance or a related field.
• Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and time management.
• Basic knowledge of plaster, sheet rock, painting, plumbing, window repairs, locksmith, tile work and electrical tasks.
• Flexibility to work some holidays and weekends; proficient with Internet and MS Word.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety, and proper PPE usage.

Mansioni

• Paints and repairs roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other building components.
• Performs basic plumbing, carpentry, tile work, locksmith, and electrical services.
• Keeps floors clean and maintained; vacuums, mops, and buffs tiles as needed.
• Maintains exterior areas and inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Records maintenance and repair work performed and coordinates with vendors.
• Assists in extermination preparation and adheres to PPE guidelines.
