Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to join our RTP, NC team. This role supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of facilities systems, lab equipment, and general building infrastructure.

You will document calibrations, coordinate with the lab, and help ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate has HVAC experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC trade school certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of BAS and CMMS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on facilities systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Repair furniture, lighting, fixtures, and small equipment; assist with grounds and clean-ups.
• Test and calibrate lab equipment; document calibration activities.
• Create maintenance plans and purchase spare parts as needed.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with lab teams on status.
