Job summary

University of Colorado Denver is seeking a Zone Proctor (Pipe Mechanical Trades I) in Facilities Management. This full-time, state-classified role supports 24/7 operations, performing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. You will log work in CMMS, monitor BAS, and respond to service calls on a 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and utility systems.
Willingness to respond to service calls, emergencies, and after-hours as needed.
Ability to coordinate with journey-level technicians and contractors and document work in CMMS.

Responsibilities

Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and utility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair building equipment and interior finishes to ensure safe operations.
Monitor BAS for comfort, energy efficiency, and equipment protection.
Coordinate tasks and prepare work areas for technicians and contractors.
Document all work in CMMS and communicate with supervisors.
