University of Colorado Denver invites applications for a Zone Proctor (Pipe Mechanical Trades I). The role performs maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems during a day shift, coordinating with technicians and contractors, and logging work in the CMMS.

Onsite, based in Denver, CO, with snow response duties and after-hours call-backs as needed. The position requires at least two years in building maintenance or a related field, and may accept an apprenticeship in

Qualifications

• Two+ years of progressively responsible experience in building maintenance or facilities operations.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems.
• Alternative: formal apprenticeship in plumbing/pipefitting/steamfitting/HVAC or higher-level coursework may substitute for the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and utility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and interior finishes to maintain safe operations.
• Monitor BAS for comfort, energy efficiency, and equipment protection.
