Job summary
Highway Horticulture, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. The role covers general repairs, preventative maintenance, and coordinating with vendors to keep equipment and the plant running smoothly.
The ideal candidate can work with little direction, uses basic HVAC and electrical knowledge, and can lift up to 50 lbs while following OSHA safety guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, supporting contractors, and addressing ad hoc
Qualifications
- Minimum age 21.
- Experience with OSHA safety guidelines.
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
- Able to bend, kneel, stoop and use a ladder.
Responsibilities
- Receive packages and coordinate shipment placement.
- Perform preventative maintenance and general troubleshooting.
- Maintain equipment inventory and service records.
- Support electrical, HVAC and other installations with vendors.
- Coordinate complex repairs with vendors and contractors.
- Assist subcontractors with electrical and HVAC installations.
- Coordinate snow removal, lawn care and facility contracts.
- Repair lights, windows, doors, fixtures and drains.
- Procure supplies and materials to complete projects.
- Perform ad hoc jobs and projects as needed.
