Job summary

Glass Meadows Inc. in Newton, New Jersey is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee upkeep of cultivation and manufacturing facilities.

The role requires hands-on work across HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, with strong safety discipline and adherence to company policies. You will handle routine and preventive maintenance, respond to work orders, coordinate with external contractors, and keep vehicles and equipment in optimal condition.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance or similar role.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Certifications such as CFM or FMP are a plus.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks as required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Facility and Equipment Maintenance: repair HVAC, boilers, extraction machines, and grow lighting systems; diagnose facility infrastructure.
• Emergency Response: be on-call and respond to facility emergencies; troubleshoot equipment failures.
• General Maintenance Duties: perform routine maintenance on vehicles and building systems.
• Preventive Maintenance: develop schedules and document performance.
• Compliance and Safety: follow regulations and safety standards; coordinate with contractors.
