Job summary

VOA-NCNN in California is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Family Program at the Mather Community Campus. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to maintain safe and comfortable living spaces for residents, while coordinating with the maintenance team to meet HQS and program objectives.

The role requires 2 years in multi-site facilities, familiar with management software, and a California driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in multi-site facilities or maintenance operations.
• Familiar with property management software, Microsoft 365, and project management tools.
• CA driver’s license and ability to meet the organization’s insurance guidelines.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
• Background clearances in accordance with agency, County, State, and federal standards.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of building heating/air conditioning units and common areas.
• Renovating residential areas for residents and repairs as needed.
• Inspect building perimeter, grounds, and parking areas for safety.
• Maintain plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, and fixtures.
• Assist with turnovers, HQS safety standards, and cleanliness.
• Perform drywall, painting, and texture work; operate spray equipment safely.
• Test safety equipment and coordinate material purchases.
• Maintain records and inventory for maintenance and inspections.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on scheduling and training.
