Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern California and Northern Nevada is seeking a Maintenance Technician at the Mather Community Campus to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and renovations across program sites. You will ensure safety, comply with HQS standards, and support residents and staff with timely upkeep of buildings, lockers, and common areas.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, familiarity with property management software and Microsoft 365, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working at multi-site facilities or maintenance operations.
• Familiar with property management software and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to perform plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry skills.
• Valid California driver's license and ability to meet insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of building systems and grounds.
• Repair and renovate residential areas for residents.
• Maintain interior/exterior common areas and ensure HQS standards.
• Inspect heating/cooling systems and safety equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance and inspections.
• Schedule maintenance with Supervisor and coordinate resources.
