Job summary

Volunteers of America Northern California & Northern Nevada, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Family Program at the Mather Community Campus.

This full-time role focuses on preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of housing, common areas, and facilities to ensure safety and quality of service. You will perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks, coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor, maintain records, and support resident safety.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience required in multi-site facilities.
• Must pass background checks and have valid California driver's license.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance of building heating/air conditioning units and common areas.
• Repair unit deficiencies and inspect facility grounds regularly.
• Maintain plumbing and electrical systems and ensure safety compliance.
