Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Able to stand/walk for a full 7.5 hour shift.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects and materials.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Minimum 3 years in general maintenance/repair or related fields.
• Able to diagnose and repair equipment analytically.
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Strong written and oral communication to maintain logs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Follow repair instructions to fix equipment using hand/power tools.
• Repair furniture and non-clinical patient equipment.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and facility staff for repairs.
• Respond to service calls and complete paperwork upon job completion.
• Maintain and repair equipment and report deficiencies.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry repairs.
• Document deficiencies and follow up as needed.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and meet deadlines.
