NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk is seeking a Supervisor, Maintenance to lead the off-shift Facilities Engineering team. You will oversee plant operations, maintenance, repairs, and coordinate with Bedboard for room availability, while liaising with Environmental Services.

Responsibilities include directing evening shift staff, managing work orders, coordinating room renovations, supporting NFPA 101 life-safety work, and contributing to snow removal efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years in construction or facilities management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and leadership skills.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, manuals and blueprints.
• Knowledge of NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and related regulations.
• Proficient MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsabilités

• Supervises off-shift Engineering, maintenance and repairs.
• Oversees work orders distribution and ensures PMs are completed.
• Coordinates room renovations with multiple departments.
• Supports snow removal and NFPA 101 deficiencies remediation.
