Job summary

Align Properties LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the property's appearance and ensure efficient daily operation. The role focuses on keeping facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, preventive maintenance, inspections, unit turns, and coordinating with vendors under the Property Manager's direction. A strong comfort with codes and safety is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EPA Universal, CAMT preferred.
• LIHTC/ Affordable housing knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall property appearance and daily operations.
• Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
• Diagnose issues using codes, blueprints, and manuals.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards compliance.
• Maintain life-safety equipment per codes and requirements.
• Inspect property and identify needed repairs; assist with unit turns.
• Support capital improvement projects and bid processes with PM.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors under PM supervision.
• Adhere to Fair Housing laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
