Job summary

Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to keep our property, equipment, and facilities in safe and working condition. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot problems, perform general repairs, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building issues; basic carpentry; preventive maintenance; responding to requests promptly; and coordinating with outside

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or related field preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, bend, climb and perform manual tasks.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are needed.
• Follow safety procedures and building codes.
• Keep basic records of repairs and materials used.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related field preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physical work as needed
