Job summary

University Partners is seeking a versatile Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will address work orders, perform routine grounds and common area upkeep, and ensure resident satisfaction through timely, respectful service.

Key duties include completing service requests within 24 hours, maintaining clean workspaces, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor, and supporting safety and preventative maintenance tasks on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have own tools.
• Able to lift, climb ladders and handle heavy loads.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willing to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees and contractors.
• Complete routine service requests within 24 hours.
• Maintain a clean community and work area at all times.
• Keep the maintenance shop organized and stocked per policy.
• Report issues to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Assist in other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Spot-clean model and vacant units daily.
• Complete work orders and maintain 24-hour response.
• Provide on-call coverage during weekends and after hours.
