Job summary

University Partners is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform a range of maintenance duties, complete service requests promptly, and uphold a clean, safe community environment. You will coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, ensuring quality workmanship and positive resident relations.

Responsibilities include daily shop maintenance, on-call coverage as needed, and adherence to safety and policy guidelines while supporting other tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• General maintenance knowledge across electrical, HVAC, plumbing and basic construction.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees, and contractors.
• Complete routine service requests within 24 hours under supervision.
• Keep community clean and maintain shop per policy.
• Report issues to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Assist with other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Spot-clean model and vacant units daily.
